معبر باب الهوى الحدودي

لمحة: هو شريان النقل البري بين أوربا وسورية والأردن والخليج العربي، ويصنف المعبر رقم (1) بالنسبة لحركة عبور البضائع والمسافرين من حيث المساحة الجغرافية.

جغرافياً: معبر باب الهوى يبعد عن مدينة إدلب 33 كم، ويتبع إدارياً لمحافظة إدلب في الشمال السوري، وهو البوابة السورية الأكبر مع تركيا يقابله معبر “جلفا غوزو” التابع لولاية هاتاي التركية.

تاريخياً: يقع على الطريق الروماني القديم “طريق الحرير” بين انطاكيا وحلب، ويعتبر الطريق الرئيسي للحج.

إدارة معبر باب الهوى: هي إدارة مدنية مستقلة إدارياً ومادياً تدير حركة عبور المسافرين والمواد الإغاثية والتجارية من وإلى تركيا تتمتع الإدارة بشخصية اعتبارية تتشكل من كفاءات علمية متخصصة وتعتمد العمل المؤسساتي العلمي أساساً في عملها.

بالإضافة إلى المكاتب التالية: مكتب الديوان العام، مكتب الرقابة والمتابعة،مكتب الدراسات والشؤون القانونية، المكتب التقني، المكتب المالي، مكتب العلاقات العامة والإعلام، مكتب الموارد البشرية، مكتب الاحصاء والتخطيط، مركز الحجر الصحي و الزراعي، مكتب التنسيق الطبي، مكتب المرآب والآليات، دائرة الكراج.
